Wallace David "Wally" Andersen, 68, of Olive St, died Thursday, October 2, 2014 in Solvay Hospice House surrounded by his family. He was born in Duluth on July 14, 1946 to Harry and Lucille (Cartier) Andersen. Wally was a 1964 graduate of Denfeld High School and attended UMD, where he studied Audio and Visual Communications. Wally married Judy Myers on October 23, 1982 in Pequot Lakes, MN. He was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church where he was past president of the Property & Operations Committee. Wally was owner of Norcomm Network, designing and installing audio/visual equipment. Wally loved riding his Harley, spending time outdoors hunting and fishing and had a passion for photography. In his most recent years, Wally loved being "Grandpa" and spending time with Alexa. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Marvin and Ken. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Alicia and granddaughter, Alexa. The family would like to thank Solvay Hospice House for the wonderful care they provided and his Hospice Home Care Team, Marie, Julie, Vern and Kristine.
